Terroir Prince Edward County 2011Terroir 2012

 Prince Edward County

Noon to 8PM, Saturday, May 26th

in the Crystal Palace

Picton, Ontario

This is the annual showcase for new wines from the fabled Prince Edward County Wine Region.

Most County wineries will introduce their spring releases at Terroir 2012, and serve their own unique wines paired with gourmet food samples prepared by top County chefs. The folks from the Great Canadian Cheese Festival will be on hand to tempt you with exotic fromage. And the bright, beautiful Crystal Palace is the ideal place to discover The County's marvelous wines and foods in a hall-of-windows right out of the Great Gatsby era.

There are many surprises in-store for you this year: new wines never released here before, new wine styles we've never tried before, new excitement about vines we've planted that have never been planted here before, and the promise of best growing season we've ever seen in The County.

You'll meet the experts, the winemakers, the vineyard managers, the grape growers, owners, and chefs. Terroir 2012 is the place to bring your questions. Now, with new longer hours, the pace at Terroir 2012 will be as leisurely as life in The County always is. When you cross the bridge, or take the ferry into this wine region, you'll leave the rest of the world behind. Welcome down to unwind town!

And why not make a weekend of it? Watch our Ticket and Information website (link below) for full information about accomodations, entertainments, restaurants, and sights to see.

We're looking forward to meeting you and sharing the wines, the foods, and the charms of beautiful Prince Edward County...Ontario's Wine Island.
